Free Concert Downloads and Two New CDs from Steve Sullivan and the Factory

Dec. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- As a bonus for concertgoers, fans attending the release concert get to download the live show for free. And the band is planning to do the same for all future shows. Front man Sullivan explains how the idea came about:

“Being on stage is what drives us as a band. We want to make every show one to remember. So we thought: let’s record all our gigs and give fans the chance to relive the night, just the way they experienced it.”

So if you’re lucky and make some noise, you might hear your own applause on the live recording. The digital package is also supposed to include unique artwork and pictures from the show.

On I Did a Bad Thing backup vocalist Holly Ann Latcham sings the sultry title track: it tells the dark story of a romance gone bad. Other highlights include “Just Wanna Be With My Girl” (available as a free download at http://stevesullivan.bandcamp.com/) or “Tell Me”, both inspired by 1950s upbeat R&B. Love is a Hit Parade is more rocking overall, but with a stomping Motown rhythm section (Matt Blake on bass/upright, Jason Sweet on drums, Bill Hart on keys). Adding to the band’s allure, both CDs feature the sound of Trumpet Goddess Jessica Lynn Gates. Front man Sullivan himself can't help but sing and play with his entire soul. His remarkable - and versatile - voice is reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen or Tom Waits, as he sings his songs about love, life, music and family.
