Age of Japan is a classic match-three game set in ancient Japan. The goal of the player is to match three or more symbols in a straight line to make them disappear. Interesting level layouts, atmospheric backgrounds and various bonuses make the players feel constantly entertained. Japanese art-style gives the game a special feel which makes the player relax and enjoy familiar and stress-free gameplay.
Age of Japan can be enjoyed in arcade and puzzle modes. In arcade mode players have to finish levels within a certain period of time. It takes ninja-quick reflexes and certain amount of luck to complete the game in this mode. Puzzle mode, on the contrary, requires players to plan every move carefully and wisely like a true samurai would, because the time is unlimited but the number of moves is not. The game features colorful Japan-themed backgrounds depicting nature landscapes in different seasons of the year and beautiful soundtrack that makes the player feel like a wise master of shogi mastering his skills (except Age of Japan is not as complicated as shogi and offers a much more relaxing way to spend some free time).
Those of players who love match-three games and are fond of Japanese culture will certainly enjoy this artful puzzle.
