Lancaster Santa Stumble Raises Over $3000 For Mounted Patrol and K-9s
Lancaster, PA, December 14th, 2011 — On Friday December 9th, 2011 the “People of Lancaster” website held its 2nd Annual Santa Stumble in downtown Lancaster. Over 300 participants came out dressed like Santa Claus, Buddy The Elf, a Belsnickel and numerous other festive costumes and raised over $3000.00 in donations for the horses and dogs of the Lancaster City Police Department while supporting downtown businesses.  Two members of the Lancaster Mounted Patrol were in attendance at the event. A check will be presented with the final total to Lt. Maurice Williams of the Lancaster City Police Department on Wednesday, Dec. 21st, 2011.

Besides individual donors, many area businesses also donated money, prizes to raffle off, and offered discounted products and services during the night of the event. Participating businesses included Yorgo’s, Marion Court Room, Annie Bailey’s Irish Pub, Penn Square Grille and the Marriott Hotel, Brunswick Hotel, Lancaster Dispensing Company, Taproom by Spring House Brewing, TMB, Q’s Duke on Liberty, Brendee’s Irish Pub, Rainbow Pet Creations, Sonia Rose, Fab Fashion, Isaac’s, Sakura, David The Goldsmith, Sam’s Steins, Two Pups Pastries, Body & Soul Fitness Studio, The North Museum, Mean Cup, Southern Comfort, Olde Greenfield Inn were among the contributors.
