Just last month, The Bikers' Den offered an amazing free shipping event for Cyber Monday, experiencing five times their typical holiday sales turnout. But this holiday season, they're gearing up to do it all over again for Canada's biggest shopping day, Boxing Day!
Boxing Day, which lands the day after Christmas every year in Canada, England, Australia, and other commonwealth countries around the world, is one of the largest shopping events of the year. Similar to Black Friday, many stores and retailers offer deep discounts on Boxing Day to extend the shopping season. The Bikers' Den and it's sister sites are offering free international shipping again for this special day, hoping to experience amazing results as was seen from their Cyber Monday sale.
Boxing Day is recognized in various countries, and while the origin of the holiday is rather obscure and somewhat undetermined, it is believed that the day revolved around the act of giving, similar to the commercialized aspect of Christmas Day for Americans. Many will celebrate Boxing Day with shopping and the giving of gifts to friends, family, and coworkers.
This tradition has been observed as far back as the last 1600's, where "Christmas boxes" filled with money or presents were offered to workers in the United Kingdom as an appreciative gift for hard work and service throughout the year.
