Dec. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- SEVEN FABULOUS ARM EXERCISES TO TONE YOUR ARMS IN JUST WEEKS

Ensure your arms are in shape for the Christmas party season! With only weeks to go before you have to slip into your party dress make sure your arms are slender and slim with this toning arm work-out by fitness expert Jéan LK.

Previously a personal trainer alongside celebrity fitness coach Mark Anthony, Jéan has launched Jéan LK Fitness looking after a variety of high-profile clients. He appreciates people with busy lives have to fit in exercise when they can so has devised some quick exercises you can fit into your daily routine to do at home or in the office. As you are bound to be even more hectic in the run up to Christmas Jean has put together these seven top tips to tone and sculpt your arms in time for the Christmas party!

PUSH UPS
Push up position on your hands (shoulder width apart) and knees together lower your chest as far as comfortable. Pause for 2 seconds then push back up to start position.

TRI-CEP PUSH UPS
From the push up position on your hands and knees, move your hands closer together almost enough for your thumbs to touch (this minimizes the chest and shoulder involvement and isolates your triceps). Lower your chest as far as comfortable. Pause for 2 seconds then push back up to start position.

FLOOR DIPS
Sit on the floor with your knees bent and hands by your side. Raise your bum off the floor till your arms are straight. Then bend your elbows and lower you self as close to the floor as possible without touching then straighten you arms to take you back to the start position.

SEATED DIPS
Sit on a chair with your legs extended in front of you. Arms fully extended and shoulder width apart behind you. Slide your body slightly forward to suspend yourself so your arms are baring you body weight between the chair and the floor. With your arms extended slowly lower yourself as though to sit on the floor then push yourself back up and returning to the start position.

TRICEP KICK BACK
Bend slightly forward at your hips. Holding dumbbells in each hand palms facing your body and arms extended towards the floor. Keeping your arms close to your body pull the dumbbells up to your waist. When your elbows hit 90 degrees this is your start position. Straighten your arms behind you so they are parallel with the floor. Hold for a second then return to the start position.

SHOULDER PRESS
Hold dumbbells by your ears with palms facing forward, feet shoulder width apart and your core engaged to stabilize you. Press the dumbbells upward and stop just before your elbows lock out.  Then return to the start position.

21 BICEP CURL
Stand with a dumbbell in each hand, palms forward. Curl until elbow hits 90 degrees then lower to start position. Repeat 7 times then immediately curl all the way to your armpits then lower until your elbow is back at 90 degrees. Repeat 7 times then perform 7 full curls.

Repeat these exercises for 3 sets, each of 12 – 15 repetitions.
