Local police officers and children to partner for CopShop
The 4th annual CopShop presented by Billings Bridge Centre and the Ottawa Police Service for local children will take place on Wednesday, December 14th at 11:00am at Billings Bridge Centre.
For the event, 35 officers will become personal shoppers to local children as they set out for a special shopping spree. Each child will receive a $200 gift card donated by Billings Bridge Centre and a stocking filled with savings and goodies from mall retailers.
The children chosen for CopShop were recommended by a variety of sources and were chosen because of need, recognition of specific academic or sports achievement or because of volunteer efforts that are making a difference in the community.
