Mama's Dirty Li'l Secret's Releases Rock cover version of the classic "My Favorite Things"

Dec. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Mama's Dirty Li'l Secret, the soul-punk trio from Brooklyn, spread the holiday Sexy with a cover of the classic "My Favorite Things."

† The Deacon † (vocals, guitar) says, he chose to cover the song because "I couldn't find a rock version. It's one of my favorite songs and there are a lot of great renditions, but I could only find one Punk version by the Me First and The Gimme Gimmes."

"What's funny is that I thought that there was going to be a ton of recorded rock versions of the song, but I couldn't find any," explains † The Deacon †. "So, then I decided that if I'm going to do *this* cover, it has to be in a way that hasn't been done before. And I think I succeeded in that."

Since their debut CD, "In Your Mouth" (2009), Mama's Dirty Li'l Secret has continued to give out new, original music to their fans by releasing 11 singles in 2010, and, with this release, their 4th single in 2011.
