The Pacific Strategic Group announced the launch today of the inaugural Pan-Asian industry awards aimed at recognising the achievements of companies and individuals operating in the Data Centre and Cloud sectors of the IT industry.
These prestigious awards will take place on the 7th December, 2012, in Singapore and are expected to attract the very best representatives from within the industry. Similar awards have existed in Europe and America for several years but this is the first time that Asian companies (APAC excluding Japan) will have the opportunity to take their place on a stage to receive an accolade.
The independent panel of judges will be drawn from international leaders that have extensive knowledge of the particular award categories and are able to select winners based purely on what sets them apart from their competitors.
Ron Varma, CEO of the Pacific Strategic Group, said that he was delighted to be involved with an initiative that would set an industry benchmark of excellence within Asia and honour people and companies that have shaped the industry through their hard work, expertise, ingenuity and progressive thinking.
