Motorola and Samsung are two of the leading names in the Android smartphone market. So let's compare two of their most popular models, the Motorola RAZR and the Samsung Galaxy S II.

Dec. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- The Samsung Galaxy S II is the best selling Android smartphone of 2011, according to Clove Technology. And it's not difficult to see why.

The S II comes with a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED plus touch screen and a powerful 1.2GHz dual core processor. Everything within it is packed into a thickness of just 8.49mm. Images on the screen pop out, bright and colourful with smoother graphics and outstanding contrast.

The Samsung Galaxy S II has been optimised to access enterprise resources on a Microsoft Exchange server securely, including availability of business email, calendar, contacts and task synchronisation.

All this, and the phone weighs just 116g.
The Motorola RAZR is also a powerful device, with a 1.2GHz processor and a thickness of just 7.1mm. It is protected on the front by scratch and splash resistant Corning Gorilla Glass and on the back by Kevlar, a fibre also used to make bullet proof vests. It weighs just 126g.

It comes with a stunning 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced display with a 960 x 540 resolution, meaning videos and images will be crisp and clear. And there's an 8 mega pixel camera with 1080p HD video recording capability, as well as a front facing camera ideal if you make video calls.

The Motorola RAZR Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) Operating System but will be compatible with the new version of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). There are also additionally many special features developed specifically by Motorola for their own handsets.

Smart Actions is an app that helps you with everyday tasks to keep you and your life optimised. Using your GPS location Smart Actions can complete specific tasks based on your location – such as silencing your ringtone when you get home.
