The Minister for Manufacturing, Innovation and Trade, Mineral Resources and Energy and Small Business Mineral Resources and Energy Hon Tom Koutsantonis MP will officially open the brand new administration and operational office facility of Beattie Transport at 25 Sharp Court Cavan SA 5094 at 3.00 pm on Wednesday 18th January 2012.
The new facility consisting of 400M3 will accommodate all the administrative and operational staff, and support the growth of Beattie’s Transport expansion alongside the increase activity in the mining industry.
Beattie Transport has grown into a specialist end to end logistics supplier specializing in oversized long and over mass freight servicing the mining sector, a long way from its humble beginnings with Malcolm Beattie at the helm of a truck in 1969.
Malcolm Beattie the Managing Director said "I am extremely pleased to see the completion of this addition to our operation. The new facility will will not only accommodate our growing team, but will also provide excellent training facilities and provide the right platform for our continued growth.
The completion of the new building is within Beattie Transport’s strategic plan and is consistent with our drive to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of Beattie Transports operations."
