Dec. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Greensboro, NC, December, 12, 2011.   Although the wounds are still fresh and will be for some time after the tragic events on Sunday, November 20th, God is still working triumph through tragedy.  The Sherri Denise Jackson Foundation Domestic Violence Center has invited Robert “Rocky” Smith and family to attend so that they might honor the victims by memorializing their names and pictures on their memorial wall.  Rocky and his daughter Christina will be speaking briefly through word and song during this Candlelight Vigil against Domestic Violence.    The public is welcome and encouraged to come and show their support against Domestic Violence.   This time of year brings the added burden and pressure of the Holidays; the stresses of life tend to run higher along with strained finances and an increase in alcohol and drug use make for a volatile situation for those facing domestic violence.

This event will be held, Friday, December 16th, 2011 in the parking lot of the SDJF Domestic Violence Center at 2025C MLK Jr. Dr., Greensboro, NC.

This event is FREE and Open to the Public.
