Follow on Google News | Vintage Clothing and Jewelry Show Coming to DFWChicago’s North Shore Flea is bringing in its vintage clothing and jewelry show to Dallas-Fort Worth. The Dallas Vintage Clothing and Jewelry Show is on tap for March 16 and 17th at the Grapevine Convention Center.
By: Eric Miller “Clothing and jewelry is the hottest thing in the vintage world right now,” says show promoter Melissa Sands. “Savvy vintage buyers can get the coolest vintage clothing made in the US and Europe and this show is about bringing it all together under one roof.” Dozens of dealers will be traveling from the Midwest and Southeast to Grapevine for the show. Sands says there’s pent-up demand in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. “Dallas doesn’t have anything like this and I’m betting the fashionistas of Texas would love to come to an event that will have vintage clothing, jewelry and accessories from all eras under one roof,” Sands says. “Even if you aren’t a full fledged vintage wearing person, a few pieces to mix into an already fabulous wardrobe can bring it up a notch. I know the out of town dealers are really excited to come in for this as Dallas is a great place to build a new customer base. Sands also promotes the North Shore Flea in Highwood, Illinois and says vintage clothing is a hot item in Chicago as elsewhere. “Save your bucks for this show, you are gonna want everything,” Grapevine Convention Center is located at 1209 South Main Street in Grapevine, Texas, a central location on the Dallas-Fort Worth are and minutes from DFW airport. Hours are Friday 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Complete details are available at vintageclothingandjewelry.com Prospective dealers should contact Melissa Sands at 586-295-0979. End
