O’Neill Group Shops for Salvation Army Families

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 12, 2011 - Wadsworth, Ohio, December 12, 2011. An annual event for The O’Neill Group since 2001, employees last week divided into groups and shopped local retailers for children and families in need during the Christmas season. The Salvation Army provided the wish lists for each member of the two families along with sizes and preferences. Gift cards to purchase a Christmas dinner for each family were also added to the packages.

“We believe that since we have been blessed in the past year we should share that with families in our community,” said Patrick O’Neill, President and CEO. “This is one of our favorite activities of the year and humbles me that our staff continues to be so eager to participate.” It was in 2001 that the staff agreed to forego their more elaborate Christmas party for a luncheon, thus providing the funds for the annual shopping trips.
