2011 Best Supply Chain Consulting Partner in China Award Winner

Dec. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Kong and Allan (Shanghai) Consulting announced today that the company has won the 2011 Best Supply Chain Consulting Partner in Asia Award as determined by a committee of industry professionals from Supply Chain Asia. Other finalists for the award included Accenture and BPS Global.

The 10th Anniversary Supply Chain Asia Logistics Awards were presented by Supply Chain Asia, one of the leading Asia based communities for supply chain professionals. Supply Chain Asia Magazine, the organization’s flagship publication, is a bi-lingual, Asia-centric supply chain and logistics magazine providing cutting-edge business intelligence and analysis to key decision-makers.

Kong and Allan Consulting received the award for their work with retail industry client partners. The project scope included integrated product and store materials engineering, manufacturing and logistics networking creating annual cost savings of 26.35%. A focus on logistics networking and inventory management helped to create annual CO2 emission reductions of 16,793.28 kilograms. In addition, material usage and design engineering combining alternative materials and cost trend data created lower use of packaging resulting in 583 trees saved per year.
