Licensed in California and New York, he maintains an extensive background in commercial and employment matters including: investor, shareholder, and partnership rights; employee compensation and termination matters; employee-raiding; Mr. Raber prosecutes and defends claims in federal and state trial courts, and before private arbitration panels. In addition to litigation and arbitration, Mr. Raber counsels clients on legal and business matters and provides outsourced general counsel services for a national mortgage lender. Mr. Raber’s work and dedication have resulted in numerous favorable dispositions. For example, in the past three years, he has obtained seven-figure judgments and settlements (including punitive damages) in two matters involving diverse issues ranging from fraud to insurance bad faith claims. Among his more notable prior cases, Mr. Raber successfully represented the former CEO of a prominent internet retailer against a well-known media mogul in a dispute over the parties’ ownership interests in the company.
