Inaugural Taste of Wellness Fundraiser Set to Take Place

Dec. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- The City of Leesburg will host the Inaugural Taste of Wellness to raise money for World Wellness Education – a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and educating people to live healthier lives one day at a time, one story at a time.

The afternoon will be full of entertainment and great food. There will be many health and wellness vendors along with local restaurants giving out samples of their healthier menu options.

Residents can also recycle their mercury thermometers and prescription drugs. Covanta is partnering with World Wellness Education to provide a safe way to recycle these products, protecting our environment and water supply.

Tickets are only $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door. All tickets purchased will be entered to win door prizes including two roundtrip airline tickets with Southwest Airlines; one aerobatic flight provided by Wing Over Aerobatics, and four rounds of 18 holes of golf at Arlington Ridge Golf Course.  

Other sponsors supporting this event include The City of Leesburg Parks & Recreation Department, The Chiropractic Center, Inter Community Cancer Centers, Xocai Chocolate, Millhorn Law Firm and Dr. Romulo Camogliano.
