Cancer survivor and health writer, Sandy Powers is also the author of the award winning book, “Organic for Health.” Mrs. Powers grew up in Lorain, Ohio, a small town on the shores of Lake Erie. After marrying Mike Powers, also from Lorain, they moved to Kent, Washington, a small town outside of Seattle. After raising two daughters who headed to college in the Mid-West, they moved to Englewood, Florida, a small town outside of Sarasota. Sandy describes herself as small town girl.
