The Institute is a consortium of local businesses, site teaching and professional mentorship programs designed to support and nurture women's educational, emotional and physical needs throughout the many phases of life. The Institute offers women the opportunity to build new skills, impart their lifelong set of values and partner with a wide variety of business and educational leaders to become more influential and stronger contributors to the local community. The goal of the Bergen Community College Women's Institute is to develop a women's leadership curriculum to educate women to attain their personal and intellectual goals. Bergen Community College is a public two-year coeducational college enrolling nearly 17,000 students in Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degree programs and certificate programs. Additionally, more than 30,000 students are enrolled in non-credit, professional courses through the Division of Continuing Education. End
