The Conti-V® Varispeed wide v-belt was specially developed for the variable speed drives used in many agricultural implements. The Conti-V® Multibelt is designed for clutch drives. The two new belts are now part of ContiTech’s industrial product portfolio, enabling customers to select from a full selection of drive belts for machine and plant engineering.
Both products are heavy-duty timing belts that a high energy efficient and virtually maintenance free.
In order to transmit high power safely, the EPDM-based Conti-V® Varispeed belt has a low-stretch aramid tensile member, is maintenance free and temperature stable from -30ºC to +140ºC. Thanks to its friction-reduced texture, the high-performance Conti-V® Multibelt ensures gentle and silent clutching. The belt’s transverse cord reinforcement ensures high lateral stiffness, and also allows for safe transmission of large loads.
The belts are available through ContiTech’s North America distribution system.
