2012 Uniquely Yours Bridal Showcase Presents Celebrity Floral & Event Designer Preston Bailey

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 8, 2011 - The Uniquely Yours Bridal Showcase returns to Norfolk, Va., next month with all the elegance, sparkle and excitement that surround one of the most important days in the life of every girl: her wedding! From over-the-top cupcake towers and pedestals of cascading flowers to candlelit cruises and crystal-encrusted shoes, those planning a wedding can't miss the Southeast Virginia region's largest gathering of top wedding vendors. Doors open at 11 am on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 at Norfolk Scope Exhibition Hall & Arena. And this year, one of the country's most-coveted floral designers and celebrity event planners joins the lineup as the featured celebrity guest --Preston Bailey (http://www.PrestonBailey.com).

Featuring more than 150 exhibitors, the Showcase event brings to life every aspect of planning a wedding from more intimate occasions to the most grand spectacles. The bride and her entourage of family and friends enjoy opportunities to meet personally with vendors of every imaginable service related to her special day including hand-pressed invitations, fairytale reception sites, exotic honeymoon destinations, wedding jewelry, caterers, floral designers, event coordinators, musicians, lighting technicians, party favors, personal care, fitness and more.

In addition to "shopping" the exhibits, a live runway fashion show highlights the latest trends in bridal gowns, groom's attire and attendants' outfits including mother of the bride, flower girl and ring bearer. Nationally-renowned floral and event designer Preston Bailey also will be on hand to discuss his design work for celebrity weddings and events and share some of his tips for planning a memorable wedding. Brides are admitted free to the Uniquely Yours Bridal Showcase, and guests are $10 each. Proceeds from ticket sales are donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Preston Bailey was born and raised in Panama and began his career in the design world as a fashion model at the age of 19.
