Magnetic Moon Fairs & Festivals started in 2001, and was the solved problem for Kathy Lambert. After years of being a vendor at local and regional craft shows, and not finding the right fit for her product, she knew there had to be a better way. Lambert decided to start her own company that could host upscale events for artisans and business with high end products. Her husband and co owner Michael Davidson came right on board with the idea. With her background in marketing, and his computer marketing business skills, it was the perfect fit for them. They work side by side with each of their vendors to help them succeed. “We enjoy promoting each vendor for their talent or skill. It doesn't matter whether they have been in business for 2 years, or 20. We promote them so that they develop a new customer base”, says Davidson. “We help them through each step from packaging a product, best way to price a product, or steer them in the right direction to selling their products wholesale”.
Magnetic Moon provides an ideal market for artists, wellness care providers, skilled crafters, and many other industries to sell their work, market their services and generate new loyal customers. Magnetic Moon heavily invests in the promotion and production of each show and promotes their vendors through their website, facebook , radio and other media. “We enjoy helping our customers market their products. Marketing is what we do,” says Davidson. “Our success is based on their success.”
After years of being in business, owners, Michael Davidson and Kathy Lambert started a tradition that sets their company apart from other event planning coordinators. They not only make money, they donate part of the proceeds to a charity that is local to where the event is being held. It has become a wonderful tradition that the vendors and crafters seem to like as well. “We have always been very active in the community. While we have always donated our time, sometimes that is just not enough. Some non profit organizations struggle to meet budgets. Our donations help them struggle a little less. It's great to give back to the community.”
