By day, Mrs. Lutgen is the Manager of Cost Accounting for an International agriculture company. Her evenings are spent ensuring her customers have a positive experience with the organization she runs as president. “A cracked windshield, a broken piece of glass or a power window that does not operate properly is frustrating. I want all NOVUS Glass of Missouri customers to drive away from their experience with us, happy and safe,” stated Mrs. Lutgen.

After researching several business opportunities, Mrs. Lutgen investigated NOVUS Glass. “My husband and I had talked about starting our own business for several years but it wasn’t until after we had a couple of bad windshield replacement experiences, involving a national company, that I began to think about glass,” said Mrs. Lutgen. “I was encouraged by the longevity, leadership and innovation NOVUS has brought forth to the glass industry over the last 40 years.” After a trip to the NOVUS headquarters in Minnesota earlier this year, Mrs. Lutgen decided that NOVUS Glass was the right business decision.

The day to day operations, quoting and actual services rendered are conducted by Mrs. Lutgen’s husband, Jeremy. Having spent the last ten years in corporate America in a marketing capacity, the NOVUS franchise has been an American dream comes true for him. “A quality product at a competitive price with exceptional customer service is how all businesses should be built. By offering all three, we have been, and will continue to be, extremely successful,” stated Jeremy. "We are providing needed automotive services to unique areas." Approximately 15 million windshields, the equivalent of about 600 million pounds of material, are replaced each year and most end up in landfills. “We know that there are situations when a piece of glass must be replaced and in these instances we will recycle the customers’ old glass”.
