San Diego Venture Group Elects New Members to Board of Directors

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 7, 2011 - San Diego Venture Group (SDVG) has elected its Board of Directors members for 2012, adding six new members and acknowledging more than 10 years of service from two retiring board members. The new board members hail from the venture capital, law, and banking industries and will join 25 returning board members in leading the volunteer driven organization.  

“We think our Board of Directors is already top-notch, so to bring our new 2012 additions to the table means an exciting year ahead,” said David Titus, SDVG President. “With their expertise and support we look forward to helping grow our local San Diego venture community.”  

The newly elected board members are:
   Raquel Cunningham, Senior Relationship Manager, Wells Fargo Bank
   Linda S. LeBeau, Vice President, Comerica Bank
   Christian Salaman, Partner, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman
   Toby Schramm, Senior Vice President, Square 1 Bank
   Bruce Steel, Managing Director, BioMed Ventures
   Court Turner, Venture Partner, Avalon Ventures

Retiring from the board are Chris Woolley and Carrie Stone. Both of these individuals have served as members of the SDVG board since 2000.
