Girl Team Mobile Releases Natural Hair Interactive Children’s Book App BIG HAIR

Dec. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- DALLAS, TX – Girl Team Mobile today announced that their first book, BIG HAIR, is now available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPodTouch.  BIG HAIR is an interactive children’s book written by Arynetta Floyzelle and illustrated by Shawnte Hicks with a diversity storyline focusing around the bi-racial main character’s natural hair.  

BIG HAIR uses an immersive storytelling experience of interactive features including read-to-me and read-to-myself, touch-and-move elements and animation to tell the story of Effie Monroe, a girl whose thick, crazy, curly, super-sized hair definitely makes her stand out from the crowd.  Supported by a colorful cast of friends, family, and community members Effie embarks on a journey to learn self-acceptance and the beauty of diversity.
