By: Taylor Moreno “We’re proud to give our support to AVANCE-El Paso as a Healthy Kids, Healthy Families partner,” said Debbie Cox community affairs manager for BCBSTX. “Through it's work, we expect to see measurable improvements in children’s health by ensuring parents understand the developmental needs of their children ages birth to four years old.” Healthy Kids, Healthy Families is a three-year initiative that aims to pull together local, state and national resources in an effort to make a significant impact on childhood health and wellness. “AVANCE-El Paso is honored to have been selected to receive a grant through the Healthy Kids, Healthy Families initiative of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. For 14 years now, AVANCE-El Paso has been helping families break the cycle of poverty, live healthier lives, and ensure children ages birth to four years old are prepared when they enter kindergarten.
