Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- When cobras attack a terrified Nigerian community, the government response to the attacks becomes just as deadly as the snakes!

The Scourge is an electrifying novel that recounts the snake attacks in three parts. The first part of the book, “The Spitting Cobra,” tells of a terrified woman who finds the bloodied remains of her dog. Weeks later, her daughter is trapped in the house with a snake. In “Mysterious Deaths,” a university professor is considered weird because of his love for snakes. Suddenly, mysterious deaths begin happening on campus, including the carnival queen, who is struck dead by a snake during the students’ union festival week. When the frightened students hold violent demonstrations, many are killed by the police trying to quell the uprising.

In book three, “The Scourge,” the uprising reaches the general community, but those who speak up disappear or are jailed without trial. This gripping story makes a strong statement about punishing true evil.
