Seeks Contestants for International Pageant
Fayetteville, NC – The North Carolina International Pageants, the official preliminaries to the Teen, Miss and Mrs. International pageants are seeking dynamic women and girls to compete for the titles. The multi-title pageant will be held on March 9 – 10, 2012 in Garner at the GPAC Garner Performing Arts Center, with all three ladies being crowned in the same evening. Winners crowned at the state level will move on to compete in their respective international pageant next July in Chicago Illinois. Home of the reigning Mrs. International 2011 Janet Bolin, the pageant is under the new directorship of pageant veteran, LaDaria Richardson, Mrs. North Carolina International 2009. The International Pageant system is the only system to require that each competitor actively be engaged and promote a community service platform
The teen division is open to young ladies between the ages of 13 - 18 and who (or their parents) live or work within the state. Miss contestants, must be between the ages of 19 – 29 and live, work or attend school in North Carolina. Each delegate in these two divisions will compete in four categories throughout the weekend’s competition:
Mrs. division contestants may be between the ages of 21 – 56 and must have been married for six months prior to the date of the pageant AND reside with their husbands, including military spouses. An in-residence exception will be made for military assignments and tours of duty. Contestants compete in 3 areas of competition:
For the first time in North Carolina International pageant history, a Miss Preteen North Carolina International will be crowned. The competition is open girls between the ages of 7-12 who will compete in two areas of competition:
