ConsuList iOS - Helps Get Customer Service Complaints Directly to the CEO

Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- The $1.99 app houses the contact information for President/CEO’s of thousands of North American companies as well as their corporate offices, Twitter feeds, and Facebook pages.  ConsuList also has listings for North American Better Business Bureau offices and allows users to cc those offices on messages sent from within the application.

“I got the idea when I had purchased a piece of poor quality furniture.”  Said Julian Clayton, developer of the app.  “I had been getting the run around from customer service employees for weeks.  Finally I spent about two hours searching for the email address for the president of the company.  The day after I sent him an email, the furniture was scheduled for replacement at no cost.  The difference was amazing, and I wanted to find a way to provide everyone with that kind of option.”

The app doesn’t just allow users to complain, it allows them to submit compliments companies as well.  Clayton says he wanted to provide a service to allow both positive and negative correspondence because they can be equally as important to a corporation.  Users must agree, because initial sales have been favorable and the developer is being overwhelm with emails of success stories.  “I can’t read them all, but the ones I do get to see are usually great.  I like the positives over the negatives.  I expect the app to be able to get results with a problem, but it’s really nice when I see users complimenting employees the good they are doing.”
