UpDownBids.com redesigns homepage, adds feature enhancements

Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- UpDownBids (www.updownbids.com) recently redesigned its homepage layout after receiving feedback from its user base. The auction website officially launched on Black Friday 2011 with great success and traction from the ecommerce community.

The homepage redesign completely changes the way the live auctions are displayed. “When we first launched the design we selected mirrored that of a penny auction site” said one of the co-founders. “Penny auctions are getting a lot of traffic right now and we felt that a design that mirrors that type of auction site would be good for us as well. After the launch and gathering feedback from some of our most active users we decided to separate our site from any type of penny auction design.”

UpDownBids.com is a new auction website provided by Web Interactive, Inc. and is not a penny auction website. This new online auction website allows users to bid the price either up or down in the same auction. UpDownBids is an evolution of auctions you might find on sites like eBay and Amazon. The difference is that UpDownBids uses patent pending technology that allows the user the ability to bid the price up or down.

Along with the homepage redesign, UpDownBids also added some additional features which included a discount tracker and some social media sharing tools.
