Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Mark Foley, CEO of Sincronicity Power Ltd presented his paper on Rural Electrification Africa - The Re-Dispense Program to The Biomass Congress in Accra, Ghana. The Congress focussed on Biomass as Africa's green energy future and delegates from all across Africa attended the event.  Mark submitted Sincronicity Power Ltd concept about how established, savvy and mature businesses in Africa can utilise clean power innovations in order to tackle a fundamental inequality that should not exist in the modern world, millions of people in Africa are living in dreadfully deprived circumstances, without electrical power.  Sincronicity Power believes in the concept of introducing clean, Bio - derived fuels as a means to provide lower cost, sustainable and reliable power for a greener and economically enriched future across Africa.

Whereas Sincronicity Power sources much of their expertise and innovations from Europe, they recognise that things that can work in Europe do not necessarily work in the same way in Africa. There are many challenges, one of these challenges is in empowering and training their work force to be able to benefit from leading - edge approaches and technologies whilst at the same time, recognising that the harsh environment and conditions under which they work demand practical and Africa – friendly solutions.  Lack of electrical power means many things. It means that an estimated 565 million people in Sub Saharan Africa do not benefit from access to a dispensary that has a refrigerator to keep medicines fresh and vaccines live.   Sincronicity Power believes strongly that it is the responsibility of established commercial enterprise in Africa, to join with a range of bilateral, multilateral, public and private agencies and utilise foreign assistance to provide sustainable and resilient clean energy electrical power to deprived African society. Electrification is the cornerstone of development and poverty alleviation. Energy is a necessary input to economic growth.   Mark Foley highlighted many important points throughout his presentation to illustrate Sincronicity Power's belief in bringing sustainable, affordable and reliable power to rural Africa. Mark took the congress back in time to 1872, to remind delegates of the important vision and undertaking of Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse, who had electrified USA by 1882.  Sincronicity Power is pioneering their Re-Dispense Program, which seeks to harness established industrial infrastructure in order to provide electrification to deprived rural communities. The Sincronicity Power Re-Dispense Program embraces the mini grid concept in order to build and develop local capacity.  Off grid power schemes that utilise low cost clean, renewable energy provide a real opportunity to transform Africa and need not be solely confined to utilising existing infrastructure.  Sincronicity Power believes that it should be the responsibility of established business to pass on their operational and technical innovations to improve the lives of those in need and are convinced that Bio Mass derived fuel is a future option for our technologies and that we can bring power to areas that have never experienced it. We can, through the mini grid system, improve the lives of millions of impoverished people, whilst empowering communities to make their futures brighter and healthier.  For more information, please visit www.ruralelectrificationafrica.com Or email mark.foley@sincronicitypower.com
