Landline Carriers Blocked from Offering SMS Over Long Code – There is a Solution

Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- TSG Global Holbrook, MA -As a result of the November 2011 meeting at the CTIA show in San Diego, there are some indicating that one of the big 3 Wireless Carriers is refusing to accept messages from any Landline Carrier wishing to SMS enable their numbers if they had not done so prior.  This indication constricts Landline Carriers from offering transparent landline-wireless SMS (text messaging) across all wireless and landline networks to their customers.  

Fortunately for the Landline Carriers who are in this predicament there is a solution.  An early adopter of providing SMS enabled Long Codes, TSG Global, Inc. has been grandfathered to continue offering SMS enabled phone numbers to these carriers.
