PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 6, 2011 - After having released 2010’s Same Rebel, New Cause and making a couple Top 10 of 2010 lists, Scheme returns with a new EP, this time accompanied by producer Slot-A.

“Life That I Chose” brings together Scheme and Slot-A for some of that good ol’ Hip-Hop music. It is a concept album for all the risk takers of the world.

The title “Life That I Chose” holds weight to the decisions made in life that may not necessarily be the norm in society. Scheme and Slot-A; with the help of DJ Scend, Astonish, and Oscar Castillo, created an EP that captivates the every day listener, as well as the hardcore Hip-Hop head. This is music from the soul for the soul.

The EP consists of 6 songs which are entirely produced by Slot-A. Astonish makes two appearances on the project, and DJ Scend laid cuts as well as executive produced the EP alongside Slot-A. This creative team made sure to cover all the facets of Hip-Hop music; from the straight forward, hard hitting “Get Down (Painting Paradise)” to the laid back, good vibe of “Hello (What Up?).” This EP shows a lot of range in just 6 songs.
