Bishop’s Move launches online Advent Calendar competition!

Dec. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Bishop’s Move, the UK’s largest privately owned removals company, has launched an online Advent Calendar competition which gives it website visitors a chance to win different prizes and offers every day up until Christmas. Starting from 1st December, visitors to the Bishop’s Move website simply have to click on the correct door to reveal a new prize along with details on how to enter.

The first prize on the 1st December was a Bishop’s Move desktop calendar which featured photos from its recent popular ‘Home is Where the Heart is’ Flickr competition. Those visiting the site simply had to ‘like’ the Bishop’s Move Facebook page and the first five to do so were the lucky winners.

The ‘Home is Where the Heart is’ competition witnessed thousands of entries which saw Bishop’s Move ‘Facebook fans’ take and share photos which revealed their own perceptions of what the home means to them. The winner was awarded with a brand new Nikon D3100 camera.

Other prize’s up for grabs throughout December will include 10% off* the cost of your house move, storage for £5* and much more (terms and conditions apply).

Speaking on the recent competition initiatives, Louise Dunckley, Bishop’s Move comments: “This is our way of giving something back to our customers and fans that have shown us much loyalty over the past 12 months. It’s a bit of light-hearted fun with some excellent prizes thrown in to make the allure of the advent calendar all the more interesting! We are winding down towards the end of what’s been another tough economic year and competitions such as this give us the chance to interact with the general public and fans of our social media pages.”
