FEARLESS FAIRYTALES AND BOOKS OF YESTERYEAR
In the quiet Australian bush lives an author, Suzanne Taylor, who has captured the children’s picture books of yesteryear. Her inspiration for her new children’s fearless fairytale is nature and her travels to understanding.
Most authors deal with adversity in publishing but Suzanne leapt over every hurdle. Furthermore, it was never a problem to start the generator up daily to ensure she could correspond with her publisher, nor would she worry when her mobile phone would constantly drop out when she was on the move and out of range of mobile towers.
When asked what started her creative journey with Golden Heart, her first children’s picture book, Suzanne responded LOVE.  When asked if she could clarify that universal statement she enthusiastically responded “What is love? How many times has that been asked? Part of the problem is that it has so many facets that it boggles the mind into confusion and it is so intoxicating. I have loved and I have hurt for the two come hand in hand and my biggest lesson felt like it broke my heart but now I find it was only opening it. So, I write to understand so my stories are about my travels to understanding and one of the mediums I choose to do this is through my fearless fairytales and my enchanting illustrations.”
Suzanne’s book is like the old fairytale book revisited. Complete with ornate drop-caps that invite you to take a closer look at the wonder of nature whereas the story line illustrations offer glimpses into the mystical world of fantasy and creative technique.

Golden Heart, a fearless fairytale inspired by the Australian bush and fairytales of old should inspire all parents who wish to see children’s eyes get bigger and bigger as one reads this wickedly creative storyline and illustrations.
