The new inductees include: Eighth Graders Scott O. Clancy of Berwyn, Kyle A. Mooney of Royersford, Shane L. Norris of Phoenixville, and Richard P. O'Flynn of Media; and Seventh Graders Ryan A. Hallinan of Newtown Square, Tyler J. Keough of Collegeville, Benjamin J. Lubker of West Chester, Sawyer A. May of Chester Springs, Alexander C. Nawn of Malvern, John B. Rufo of Chester Springs, Connor P. Ryan of West Chester, Daniel D. Shannon of Royersford, Arnold J. Tiglao of King of Prussia, Michael A. Weir of Malvern.
More than just an honor roll, the National Junior Honor Society serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character and Citizenship. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1929.
Today, it is estimated that more than one million students participate in activities of the NJHS. NJHS chapters are found in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, many U.S. Territories, and Canada. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
Devon Prep is a small, private, Catholic college preparatory school for young men in grades six to 12 conducted by the Piarist Fathers. The school is located on a picturesque 20 acre campus on Valley Forge Road on Philadelphia’
