Dec. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- The American Red Cross, Jersey Coast Chapter has recently announced plans for their 2012 Charity Gala, “Diamonds and Denim”, being held on March 31, 2012 at the prestigious Spring Lake Golf Club, Spring Lake NJ. The Jersey Coast Chapter is responsible for all of Monmouth and Ocean County and was the State Coordinator Center during recent hurricane Irene that devastated the Jersey Coast. With their 15,000 square foot warehouse depleted of relief supplies and equipment, committee members are hopeful to secure major sponsors to help replenish the warehouse. Not being Federally Funded, the Chapter stresses the need for support, donations and sponsorships for their upcoming Gala.

This year, the Gala Committee is pleased to be honoring some of Monmouth and Ocean Counties best, Mr. Gary Olivero, American Red Cross Board Member and Disaster Relief Volunteer recognized as Clara Barton Humanitarian of the Year, Mr. Tom Hayes of New Jersey Natural Gas as the Clara Barton Community Humanitarian of the Year and Vonage as the Clara Barton Corporate Humanitarian of the Year. The evening will once again be emceed by local celebrity and restaurant owner Mr. Steve Bidgood. Music by the Jazz Lobsters is also on slate for the evening including a surprise guest or two.

For the first time, the Red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter is offering a 12 month co-branding sponsorship opportunity for interested parties called the Premier Diamond Sponsor. This 12 month, 3 major events co-branding includes the 2012 Charity Gala, the Annual Golf and Tennis Outing held at the Eagles Oaks Golf Club and their Rock N Ride Bike Tour & Party in the Park on Long Beach Island. Packaging these 3 large events offers business exclusivity and the opportunity to be partners with “the most recognized nonprofit in the world” states Deb Heptig, Director of Development for the American Red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter. Other sponsor opportunities include a $5000 level and a $2500 level. Several underwriting opportunities are also available.

With this year’s theme being Diamonds and Denim, the Red Cross is looking to expand their supporters to all generations and especially to those new to the non-profit arena. Dress code will still be formal but offering guests, especially men the option of wearing their best jeans with their best blazer. Women are asked to dress to impress and sparkle.
Pre Tickets sales for the Diamonds and Denim Gala are available now at $225pp along with a special offer to Private Parties of 8 for $1600 if purchased by February 29th. For more information on the Gala and pre ticket sales, contact Kim Price at the Red Cross, (732) 493-9100 ext. 1227
