Postlethwaite Launches New Website Explaining Employee Ownership And Share Schemes

Dec. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Postlethwaite, the law firm specialising in employee share schemes and employee ownership, have today launched an entirely new website which they intend to serve as a resource for companies (and their advisers) considering employee share ownership.

Robert Postlethwaite, the firm’s managing partner, commented:
“Many companies thinking about employee share ownership not only want help working out what kind of share scheme might work best for them, they also want to understand the fundamentals of how it works: things like where the shares come from, how many shares they should offer and what impact it has on existing shareholders.  We’ve built a number of new tools into our website to help answer these questions, including a short video which explains employee share ownership through the medium of cake (it will make sense if you watch it!)
Although at first sight the world of employee share schemes can seem a little technical – especially when looking at tax and potential tax incentives – we are confident that it can be explained clearly and simply.  Our website represents our latest initiative in that direction”
