Total Consecration offers the quickest and surest path to Jesus through His Blessed Mother

HAVERTOWN, Pa., Dec. 1, 2011 – Almost 15 years ago, Blessed Pope John Paul II discussed the relationship between mother and child that exemplifies the protection, especially of their spiritual life, the Virgin Mary provides everyone from conception to natural death.

“Even when the same woman is the mother of many children, her personal relationship with each one of them is of the very essence of motherhood,” he wrote in the encyclical Redemptoris Mater (Mother of the Redeemer). “For each child is generated in a unique and unrepeatable way, and this is true both for the mother and for the child.”

“Blessed John Paul II developed a very close relationship with Mary, and he fully lived the path to perfection provided by the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary,” said Anthony Mullen, executive director of the Children of the Father Foundation and the MyConsecration.org website. “We are living in what may be history’s most perilous time – for the Church, and for individuals who seek to be Faithful. We are dedicated to spreading this devotion to our Blessed Mother as a way for everyone to gain her protection throughout their entire lives.

“It is imperative that people understand Mary’s importance in our road to perfection and salvation,” Mullen added. “The Popes and the great saints have strongly emphasized that the personal consecration to Jesus through Mary is not a nice extra devotion – but teach it as a compelling way of Catholic perfection, which we are all called to.” In order to emphasize that, Mullen notes this famous quote from Pope Leo XIII, in an encyclical on the Rosary more than a century ago: “From that great treasure of all graces, which the Lord has bought, nothing, according to the Will of God, comes to us except through Mary, so that, as nobody can approach the Supreme Father except through the Son, similarly nobody can approach Christ except through His Mother.”

“This is why we urge everyone to make the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary,” Mullen said. “She has been with all of us from the moment of our conception, and she will lead us to her Son in Heaven at the time of our death if we ask her in prayer.”
