Deanna Ransom to Perform at Toy Fundraiser to Benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of America

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 30, 2011 - ATLANTA, GA - Award winning gospel artist Deanna Ransom is scheduled to perform at the Holiday Gospel Jazz Dinner and Toy Fundraiser in Dover, Delaware on December 2. The event will benefit the local Boys and Girls Clubs of America and The Shepherd Place, a homeless shelter serving the Kent County, Delaware area.

“I am honored to be a part of such a worthy cause,” says Ransom, an avid humanitarian. She is scheduled to participate in other benefits including events supporting victims of domestic violence. And recently, Ransom was headliner of the “Hope Lives Forever Cancer Benefit Tour” which traveled across states such as Texas, Alabama, Tennessee and Kansas.

Other featured performers at the Holiday Gospel Jazz Dinner and Toy Fundraiser include comedian and author, Maurice M. Gray, Jr., gospel saxophonist, and mimes Tony Smith and Donald Newsome, Jr. The benefit will be held at the Modern Maturity Center, 1121 Forrest Ave., Dover, Delaware.
