Nov. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Roseville, Mich., November 30, 2011 – Ultimation Inc., a well-established local machinery and equipment supplier has been acquired by Jacqueline Canny who also takes over as CEO of the company effective immediately.  Canny has a long history of success in sales and marketing having held leadership positions across a variety of industries. In acquiring the company, Canny plans to grow Ultimation into one of Michigan’s leading woman-owned manufacturing businesses by focusing on long-term customer relationships. As a result of the transaction, Ultimation’s name changes to Ultimation Industries LLC.

Historically, the machinery and equipment industry has been dominated by males; however Canny is upbeat about Ultimation’s prospects. “You could say that this business is kind of in my blood – my dad was a tool and die specialist at Ford for many years, and now we are seeing a resurgence in the competitiveness of American manufacturing. By focusing my sales and marketing leadership experience together with Ultimation’s deep technical knowledge and patents, we can make a great team” said Canny.

Ultimation’s founder, Tom Curcuri, will remain in his present position as President of the company, while Jack Curcuri will continue as Operations Manager. The company’s existing focus on machinery and equipment design and manufacturing for the automotive sector will be supplemented with growth opportunities including contract assembly services and diversification to include non-automotive clients.
