In 2011, IMC increased its government contract work by approximately $8,000,000 (more than a 70% increase) and 42 personnel and began laying the groundwork for a commercial products and services division.
The majority of IMC’s 2011 growth has come in providing Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) for government IT projects and providing IT support services for Federal agencies, such as help desk and network administration. With many large IT development initiatives kicking off in the Federal Government space, the IV&V services market will continue to grow, especially for companies like IMC with demonstrated experience and strong past performance.
IMC’s commercial growth centers around web-based products that improve organizational communication, feedback, social networking, and project risk evaluation. IMC has dedicated team members using prior experience in these areas to develop new and innovative ways to harness modern technology to improve how organizations function and team members interact.
