Follow on Google News | SBA Deputy Administrator to Tour Cascade Asset Management in Wisconsin On Dec 1U.S. Small Business Administration Deputy Administrator Marie Johns will visit Madison on Thursday, December 1st, to tour Cascade Asset Management. Johns is in Wisconsin to meet with small business owners and promote job growth.
By: Neil Peters-Michaud Cascade Asset Management, LLC works with businesses and institutions to reuse and recycle electronics and IT equipment. They work with customers to dispose of surplus computers and other electronics through donation to charity, resale, or recycling and material recovery. In 2005 and 2007 Cascade Asset Management used two SBA loans to purchase land, build a new building, and later expand their operation. The two SBA loans allowed Cascade to launch its national expansion and add over 35 additional jobs. Johns will attend an SBA Young Entrepreneurs Series (YES) forum in Milwaukee later in the day. The YES event will bring together young people to help get them the tools they need to start and grow businesses.
