Syndiant is a fabless semiconductor company founded in 2004. Its founder, Mr Karl Guttag has over 30 years of work in the digital imaging industry, and is a named inventor on over 135 US patents.
Syndiant has designed, for industry use, light modulating panels for high resolution displays used in ultra-portable projectors small enough to embed in a cell phone.
Among its other LCOS display panels, Syndiant’s VueG8™ is a patented all-digital smart panel technology, enabling the world's smallest personal display devices that uniquely meet cost, power, form-factor and resolution requirements.
Syndiant uses high volume semiconductor manufacturing, VueG8 devices and pixel sizes can be easily scaled to meet the cost, size, and performance needs of pico projectors.
Digislide’s low cost LED projection systems, and newly designed laser projection systems, based on the Spectralus laser is ideally suited to the Syndiant’s technologies.
Ms Luceille Outhred, Digislide’s CEO said “Digislide’
Mr Keith Lewis, Syndiant’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing said “I am very impressed with Digislide and the success that you have achieved. Syndiant is very interested in teaming with Digislide. Syndiant has a strong research and development team in Dallas and a customer focused applications engineering team in Taiwan and Hong Kong and we are keen to explore a deeper relationship with Digislide.”
Digislide’s Founder and Chief Innovator, Mr Kevin Soper, who is a named inventor in over 40 patents said “The opportunity of bringing together the best of breed in precision optics, laser technologies and LCOS display panels is very exciting. We are honoured to be invited to co-exhibit with Syndiant in their promotions suites at CES (Las Vegas)”
Mr Gregory Nemet, Chief Operating Officer of Spectralus, said “We are excited about the possibilities as we converge the technologies of these highly innovative young companies. We are confident we will jointly develop high quality laser-based projectors for consumer and professional markets”
