They can often be used for 5/2 day option or 7 day mode and the room thermostats offer 4 settings per day - some are even self learning. Additionally, thermostats can be flush mounted, as to fit in seamlessly with any room style or design.

Underfloor heating room thermostats can also be offered with a TouchPad system.  The TouchPad system can control up to 32 underfloor heating room thermostats allowing full control regardless of the size of the building. These touch pads can also be integrated with other heating systems and, for example, can control the hot water and radiator system.

Another advanced feature of room thermostats is wireless connectivity. If the signal between the wireless room thermostat and the wireless wiring centre is poor, a wireless repeater can usually be provided.
