Artist Greg Pitts Brings Exhibit To Coconut Grove

Nov. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Artist Greg Pitts who has been acclaimed as the most diverse self-taught artist in the world realized in 2010 when participating in his first Miami Art Basel which was a personal success, that he could create something each year that would be different from any other artist or venue.  With hundreds pieces created, the variety exhibited by the artist enables the buyer to collect several pieces of his work, each having it's own character and originality.

His artwork rarely uses traditional canvas but rather materials that he has used to construct the frame and stretch the canvas himself.

The artist has been selected to exhibit during Miami Art Basel 2011 alongside the works of such greats as Damien Hirst, Roberto Matta, Roy Lichtenstein and Philippe Dodard.
