Kettle Comfort partners with Palm Beach County Sherriff for official launch in Palm Beach County

Partnership kicks off with Thanksgiving meals distributed to the Glades area community

PRLog - Nov. 29, 2011 - PALM BEACH, Fla. -- (Belle Glade, Fla) Kettle Comfort celebrated its official début this Thanksgiving Day. Palm Beach County Sherriff’s office partnered with the organization offering hundreds of needy families a nutritious gourmet meal.  The celebration took place at Lake Shore Park and welcomed everyone in the Glades area community.  Bus transportation for those in remote areas was provided by the Palm Beach County Sherriff’s office.

Tim Gannon, founder of Kettle Comfort, and the County Sherriff’s office gathered over 30 volunteers to donate their time for this great cause, many of whom brought their children to assist. “I am thrilled to see how many friends were eager to make a difference, turning a special family day in to a family work day.  This is the first of several we will be hosting this season,” said Tim Gannon

Notables attending the event included Belle Glade Mayor Steve Wilson, Chief Deputy Michael Gauger, Assistant City Manager Beverly Scott.  Volunteers included Crystal Casey, Kathleen Gannon, Ashley and Jeannie Vanmetre, Rusty and Emma Holzer, Irene Goit, Paul Cerullo, Renelda Mack, Alex Stevens and Alexis Posada.

Kettle Comfort “Cooking for America”is a 501 C3 registered in the State of Florida, headquartered in West Palm Beach Florida and founded by Outback Steakhouse co-founder Tim Gannon.  The driving force behind the quality of products Kettle Comfort is committed to, and the superior technology used to maintain the nutrients and taste is a direct result of Mr. Gannon’s experience as a restaurateur and his passion for food.  “This is not just about feeding the needy by serving pre-frozen meals in masses.  It is about providing chef-inspired  dishes and developing a cost-effective manner to maximize our outreach.  We intend to provide Kettle Comfort meals to over 105 homeless shelters in Palm Beach County, and eventually nationwide,” says Gannon
