In 2001, BGCNW established the scholarship fund in memory of Chris Cutri. Individuals donated gifts annually to the Club in his memory, and in 2007 the Chris Cutri Scholarship Fundraising event was established. Since this time, the event has raised $35,000 towards the fund. The scholarship has distributed more than $20,000 to allow children to attend the school-age afterschool program.
“It is incredible to see the same faces return each year to support the Club,” said BGCNW Executive Director, Brian Skanes. “The event acts as both a reunion and a fundraiser, bringing old friends together for a good cause.”
