The Towbes Group Signs Two New Tenants to Leases Totaling 28K SF at Castilian Tech Center in Goleta

Nov. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- GOLETA, Calif. – The commercial properties division of The Towbes Group, on behalf of the property owner, Nassau Land Company, LP, has executed two leases totaling more than 28,000 square feet at the Castilian Technical Center, announced Kate Villar, Commercial Property Manager with The Towbes Group.

Castilian Technical Center is a Class A research and development facility located in the heart of Goleta's business district.  Multiple buildings accommodate tenants ranging in size from 5,000 square feet up to 86,000 square feet.  The property is adjacent to Tecolote Creek and offers a variety of amenities, prominent building signage, and easy access to Highway 101 and the Santa Barbara Airport. Other tenants include FLIR, Cisco, Neovia Insurance, World Minerals and CIO Solutions.

AppFolio, providers of web-based property management software will occupy 14,527 square feet at 50 Castilian Drive after relocating from smaller space in a nearby building in Goleta.  “AppFolio was looking to find a space to meet their immediate expansion requirements and allow the option to continue growing in the future,” said Francois DeJohn of Hayes Commercial Group who along with Steve Hayes represented both the Landlord and the Tenant in the transaction.

Control Point, a full service engineering firm specializing in the development of mission critical systems used in combat, automotive, robotics, avionics and aerospace has relocated its headquarters from downtown Santa Barbara to 110 Castilian Drive occupying 14,227 square feet.

Recently, The Towbes Group partnered with Southern California Edison to replace existing lighting with energy efficient fixtures throughout the Castilian Technical Center.
