By: chelsea gregory Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, Chelsea delivered the loaves and a full blown meal to a family in need. Chelsea was simply a volunteer for The Sandbox Organization who managed volunteers all over the Charlotte area. In total 373 families were fed which was more than double the organization's original goal. The Sandbox is "an organization that serves individuals and families facing challenging circumstances and obstacles in their lives, both emotionally and financially due to terminal disease and or circumstance. " "As Miss South Carolina International 2011, I feel so blessed to have worked along side so many wonderful people, " said Chelsea. "People like Mara Campolungo and Brian Duhlin inspire me. They are so giving." Chelsea has been Miss South Carolina International since March of 2011. She has helped the Sandbox with their Prom for Levine Children's Hospital by rounding up over 100 gowns for the girls by getting donations from the Fairy Godmother Project.
