Nov. 29, 2011 - PRLog -- MusicLearningWorkshop.com, a website dedicated to educating music enthusiasts on music theory, announced today that it is seeking guest bloggers for the website’s blog, mlblog.musiclearningworkshop.com.

The blog will be receiving a new updated design and unites Music Learning Workshop students for increased interaction. Guest bloggers and writers who would like to contribute content occasionally or regularly are being invited do so.

Music Learning Workshop was created in 2008 by Brad Chidester as a resource for musicians to better understand music theory and in doing so become greater musicians. The website teaches in a workshop-type mythology utilizing keyboard as the primary focus, but is compatible with all instruments.  Brad has over 20 years of studying music, and cites two key figures of motivation behind his work thus far, his past music educator, who was a huge music theorist and his more recent jazz mentor.

“With the opening of Music Learning Workshop’s blog to guest authors, I wanted to give music bloggers and writers the chance to make an impact on others who are just as passionate about music as they are,” comments Brad. “I know the value of connecting with other individuals who share common goals and interests, and hope that music bloggers can connect with their readers in a meaningful way.”

If a writer’s work is selected for posting, they can benefit by self-promoting their own blog or website via author box or short bio. This can be very helpful in building search engine ranking, leading to increased exposure.

Those interested in becoming a guest blogger or permanent contributor would need to follow some standard guidelines. Primarily, Brad is looking for quality content, original work that has not been published on other websites, and relevant topics for all ages of learning; however, the majority of readers will be beginners or intermediate musicians. Topics and subtopics should fall into some categories like learning music, teaching methods, music technique, music theory, performance, and practice.  For additional details on writing guidelines, interested writers are encouraged to visit http://mlblog.musiclearningworkshop.com/guest-post-music-....
